Doxa means glory
It is the Greek word for glory, and the root of the word doxology. Doxa Performance is coaching built on the idea that training well is one way to honor what you have been given.
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

Meet your coach

Marcus Jean-Francois, PhD
Veteran-owned U.S. Marine Corps veteran
Marcus served in the U.S. Marine Corps and has coached since 2013. He is a personal training coach, a CrossFit coach and a golf specialist, and he holds a doctorate in sports science.
He started Doxa Performance to coach athletes the way he would want to be coached: a plan written for your sport and your life, a coach who pays attention, and honest adjustments along the way.
He works with Hyrox athletes, golfers, pickleball and tennis players, and he coaches everyone remotely, so you can train wherever you are.
Why Doxa?
Doxa means glory
Doxa is the Greek word for glory, and the root of doxology, the words Christians use to give praise. The name reflects how Marcus coaches: do the work well, and do it for more than yourself. Athletes of every background are welcome.
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31Soli Deo Gloria
